Lorenzo Musetti was born in Carrara, Italy, on March 3, 2002. In his career, he won two ATP titles out of as many finals played, including the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg in 2022.

In Grand Slam trials, he reached the eighth-finals in the 2021 edition of Roland Garros. In the ATP rankings, he was No. 18, a position he reached on April 23, 2023.
