Holger Rune is a famous Danish professional tennis player who is currently ranked No. 10 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals, which he first achieved on 7 November 2022.
Rune started playing tennis very early on and brought home titles at every stage and age group. He was an under-12 doubles champion with WTA young sensation Clara Tauson with the pair winning the title in 2014.
Rune won the European under-14 singles championship in 2017. His biggest title came at the 2019 French Open where he clinched the Grand Slam title in junior singles announcing his arrival as one of the most talented youngsters.
Rune become the highest-ranked Danish singles male tennis player in the Open Era and the second-highest in history tied with Jan Leschly and behind Kurt Nielsen.
Rune came top to win three ATP Tour singles titles, including a Masters 1000 title at the 2022 Paris Masters and produced his best Grand Slam performance at the 2022 French Open by reaching the quarterfinals in his main draw debut at the tournament.
