The Czech former professional tennis player Petr Korda won the 1998 Australian Open and was runner-up at the 1992 French Open, reaching a career-high ranking of No. 2 in February 1998.
Korda tested positive for doping in July 1998 at Wimbledon and was banned from September 1999 for 12 months, but he retired shortly before the ban.

Petr’s son, Sebastian, is the last born and the only son. He is also a tennis player representing the United States and became the top-ranked junior in the world after winning the junior boys’ Australian Open title in 2018.
