The tennis star won major singles titles for four straight years from 2018 to 2021 and has an appealing brand, with several endorsement deals to her name.

Despite being born in Ghana, Osaka and her parents moved to New York when she was just three years and it was in the United States that she first fell in love with tennis.

Family, husband/boyfriend, children, parents, siblings
She was born to Leonard Francois (father) and Tamaki Osaka (mother). She, however, bears the surname of the mother.
It was her parents who decided that despite being raised in the US, their daughter will represent Japan when playing tennis.
“We made the decision that Naomi would represent Japan at an early age. She was born in Osaka and was brought up in a household of Japanese and Haitian culture,” they explained.
“Quite simply, Naomi and her sister Mari have always felt Japanese so that was our only rationale. It was never a financially motivated decision nor were we ever swayed either way by any national federation.”
Naomi has a sister called Mari, who also used to be a professional tennis player. She has no children but is dating American rapper Cordae.
The 25-year-old’s college education isn’t clear, but she had a stint at the ISP Academy and later moved to the Harold Solomon Tennis Academy in 2014. Naomi also trained at the ProWorld Tennis Academy.
Naomi Osaka is currently being coached by her father, Leonard Francois.
She is ranked no.44 by the ATP currently.
