Korda comes from a family of athletes, as both his mother and father were top tennis players. Despite the fact that he loved playing ice hockey when he was young, he switched to tennis at age nine.
And by the time he was 11, he was already a champion in a golf tournament in Prague. He made his ATP debut in 2018 at the New York Open and after a couple of near misses, he won his first senior career title at the 2021 Emilia-Romagna Open.
